OVERVIEW

Apparel manufacturing and technology cover a wide number of subjects in the creative field of, including product creation, design, manufacturing, quality control, marketing, and retail operations. Our curriculum in Apparel Manufacturing and Technology goes beyond design contests, seminars, trips to the apparel industry, and industry partnerships to include marketing, visual merchandising, and communications.

The understanding of consumer behavior, trend analysis, manufacturing and marketing strategies, technical aspects of garment production and quality control, and fashion and textile studies will all be combined by the students. Internships are emphasized heavily during the foundation semester, which is required of all students.Students will learn fundamentals of clothing materials & techniques- knitting, weaving, design, dyeing, washing, testing, pattern, cutting, sewing, quality & shipping. Along with learning how to progress from sample to garment manufacturing, they will also become proficient communicators.
